The series is based of an hour and a half movie wrapped around her life...and the kinky hair??? What's with the KINKY hair?? Maybe Selena had a perm at one time but I don't remember her with a Kinky fro! Yes these are actors but that's the point to select a character to depict and mimic Who Selena really was as well as thet possibly can. This is like a biography not some made up fantasy, the actress didn't even look like her and the drama that occurs in reality is nothing like they portray this family in this series. These people aren't the walton's. No chemistry between this Selena and Chris etc...

I think this was great, it had an excellent storyline. I actually liked this movie alot better than It part 2. Seeing this sequel gave me a better understanding of The Shining with Jack Nicholson.

It was a pretty weird movie, it had some explicit scenes that were out there. Basically a weird as heck movie.

It was in my opinion very, very boring and weird...It was dark in the sense that he was depressed throwing a pitty party about his life even then I wouldn't call dark. All in all not a great movie...Joaquin Phoenix did an excellent job playing his part unfortunately the movie was pretty bad. Glad I didn't sit at a theater for this.
