When I saw who was featured in this movie I wanted to watch it. I knew nothing about the background of the author or the storyline. That being said, the movie was difficult to watch and I’ve seen Jonathon in several other movies and I enjoyed all of his performances from a struggling tennis pro, soccer player and even King of England but in ,”The Aspen Papers” he was horrible! In one of his first lines in his introduction he says, I’m an American! I thought from where exactly? Not anyplace I’ve ever visited in my entire life!! His accent and stiffness bothered me so much I could hardly follow the storyline and enjoy it! At the end they ran the credits and it seems Jonathan and Miss Richardson were the Executive Producers. Then it made sense why he was the star of the shoe even though his performance ruined the movie. I’m sorry I wanted to like it. I just couldn’t!

Loved the movie. It made me remember that even in a war we are all just human beings in different uniforms. I loved the message.
