This movie might include Leo and Brad's best performances to date. They are both immensely believable as actor/stuntman buddies who eventually face much more than their combined career decline. The Manson cult lurking in the background plays a increasingly stressful role to the viewer as the minutes of this movie pass....especially if you know the actual history of their pinnacle crime. The payoff of intersecting stories is one of the most satisfying in recent memory.
