I love these books, but I will be honest. I think the first book was a bit better. Looking forward to Career of Evil of course.
I really loved the language in this book. Just the word Bombyx Mori itself, which I now know to mean Silk Worm, has a very aesthetic appeal to me. Exposing my mind to words like that is in itself one of the most interesting experiences about reading Rowling’s, (Galbraith’s) works.
My main hang up with this was the ending. I feel like a lot of questions and characters were left unresolved, but maybe that was intentional, perhaps to be touched upon in later books of the series? Also I'm wondering how ‘murderer’ was able to perform certain tasks that were ruled out for other comparable suspects due to similar builds.
Anyway. That’s my two cents. Very enjoyable listens while working.
