At the end of Reloaded, the message “to be concluded” splashed on the screen. Revolutions was a great end to the franchise. Should have kept it that way. I didn’t even realize there was a fourth part to the trilogy until I decided to re-watch the originals. Yes, I said “fourth part to the trilogy” on purpose, because that’s what it is. It doesn’t fit. It’s nothing like the first three edge-of-your-seat action and excitement movies. The action was boring and mostly predictable. The unexplainable was explainable in the first three. The unexplainable in Resurrections was just awkward. When the movie was over, I was glad it was over, even though it left some uncertainty. I think the only reason I gave this one two stars instead of one is because I recently watched Beverly Hills Cop 3, the benchmark of awful sequels.
