We’re enjoying the series for the storyline and period piece. It’s not as rich in all areas nor on the same level as Downtown Abbey. Also, some of the acting is so flat, like they’re just reading their lines versus acting them.

I originally liked the show in the first few seasons (many years ago, hello Barbara) but I can’t stand it now. It is so unbalanced politically left. Regardless of my views (pun intended), I want equal opposing thoughts and opinions voiced. As basic as 2 people from each side would be a welcome relief and more interesting. And lastly, Joy’s obnoxious attitude is such a noninclusive turnoff.
