Husband stopped watching after the first episode as he didn't find it funny, but I stayed with it because I think that it's all about how the characters unfold. I knew from Angry Boys that there would be these great peaks in their stories. I think it's aimed at the younger generation with a lot of jokes around swearing, and the message is also an important one for them (and us) - hope, resilience, being yourself and being brave. Loved Gavin, Joyce and Becky. The characters were all an extreme version of everyday people you come across which is what made it funny for me.
