Okay, so I watched this trilogy with my lovely girlfriend, and lemme say it was amazing. The first movie was an okay one, I thought it was cute how they ended up together in the end. The second movie... Let's be honest, it could've been so much better. I disliked the second arrangement with a burning passion because of Peter's character and how he seemed to put Gen before Lara Jean. Anyway, this review isn't about the second movie haha. THIS MOVIE was absolutely amazing. I remember being so disappointed watching the second movie that I asked my girlfriend if the third would be better, to which she purposefully lied so I would get caught off guard. Let me tell you when I say I was caught off guard. This movie was so extremely relatable and really conveyed what high school relationships going into college are like. It conveyed the uncertainty and worry that a relationship faces when going into a long distanced one. But in the end, they conveyed what a relationship really should be, which really struck home for me. "It won't always be easy but I want to do whatever it takes to make this work because that's what you do when you love someone..." That's exactly what you do when you love someone! You do whatever it takes, and you overcome all the problems and hardship you face, together. Not only that, they nailed the rough relationship with Peter's dad and resolved it perfectly in the end. Overall, the plot and how everything was resolved, was absolutely amazing. Now the other things this movie nailed, the fashion, (they really did nail today's fashion haha) the MUSIC, (Beginning Middle End's my personal favorite track in the entire movie) family relationships (the dynamic Lara Jean had with her sisters and her dad) LUCAS THE MAN LETS GOOOOOOOO, Lara Jean's EPIC DAD I MEAN COME ON HOW IS HE SO CHILL AND EPIC BRUHHH. But yes, this movie was epic, 10/10 would watch again. A definite watch for any long distancers out there! Anyway have a good one :)
