Basically the film tells people what they want to hear, it's curated information most scholars would agree is somewhat debatable. For example, before the 10th century in Europe most land WAS divided equally between sons. The 'reason' it drifted to first sons inherits all is because breaking up a kindgom severely weakens the realm. Imagine 4-5 sons getting land every single time, and now you have vikings and muslims pushing into Europe in this period as well. It's like a reason behind these trends is not discussed, instead it's us vs them narrative.
