Positively entertaining. Even for an old fart like me who doesn't care for gratuitous violence. But, the violence portrayed in this flick isn't gratuitous - it has a raison d'etre.
The ending, however, is too transparent. I doubt I'll watch the sequel.

Not my normal genre, but, somehow got sucked in. Keeps the viewer on the edge of their seat from start to finish. Absolutely entertaining!

What's not to like about The Indian Detective? (Hint: nothing - it's fabulous!)
The only thing harder than making an effective dramady is making one with international flavors like actors from South Africa, locations such as India, and produced in Canada. The occasional heavy-handedness only adds to the viewers enjoyment. Smart, dramatic, funny, AND sexy, there had better be more than just four episodes.

So much potential wasted by being painted with constant profanity. Yes, we all cuss, but it is NOT necessary for it to be included in entertainment, especially entertainment that's supposed to make us laugh. Seriously, it adds nothing to the content except to expose the writers' inability to write something humorous. 🤬

Sadly, it is easy to tell this miniseries is not an American production. The script is fantastic, the acting fabulous, the story sublime, and on and on. It is an emotional piece, and, more importantly, one to make you think.

The first half was truly funny, but I couldn't laugh because I've read the history of the Kremlin during the time portrayed by this movie. The second half is absolutely believable plotting, danger, and murder by the most powerful group of men in the former Soviet Union.
Entertaining. Frightening.

Only Will Smith could successfully meld Bad Boys with Dungeons & Dragons - and he did it with Bright. A comedic shoot-'em-up of the highest order. Hoping for a sequel!

Gratuitous violence. Boring script and acting. Ensures gag reflex works.

Ten minutes into the first episode and the director is still just filling up minutes with trite flashbacks full of nothing, and useless dialog in the "here and now".
All the seasons could probably be combined in one 90 minute movie and still be too long and too boring.
