i will watch this film many times in the future. exquisitely cast, and filmed in glorious black and white. the era in harlem was captured, as was the situation. the only problem i observed was the casting of alexander skarsgård, as he was the lone recognizable actor. perfect as it fade to white. i will now read the book by bella larsen, and her other novel and works. a definite must see.
