Both happy and sad reading this-- I was a member of the Club at the World Trade Center for more than 20 years and it brought back a lot of memories of having breakfast there and the other regulars who showed up--- In those days, private clubs had free breakfast for members, and I often made a point of taking the E trade down for things like caviar omelet in puff pastry.
Unfortunately, everybody was on a first name basis, you never knew people's last names, so I went to a lot of memorial services, just to see if I would recognize familiar faces. Happy to hear from the book that Jules and Kevin are still alive--- and particularly Melvin, our kind and cheerful ground floor lobby elevator attendant.
