With a cast like this, you would think "ok, got to be a decent series".... Not even close. It drags on, but not it only being slow, but with stupidity. I mean just the crap one encounter one after another kind of stupidity. It like the Walking Dead, you watch it to see what the next stupid thing they do. Sxript wise, it grinds on your nerves, in soe scene with people, you want to smack the stupidity from their mouth. So they chosed 114 Kasandra: 114 Kassandra is a rare T-type asteroid, meaning it's composed of materials similar to troilite and carbonaceous chondrite. Specifically, its spectrum suggests a composition of iron, nickel, and cobalt. It's also noted for its fine-grained appearance, similar to the Ornans meteorite, which landed in France in 1868

I truly enjoyed this series. Sad it only going to have 3 seasons, it had so much potential. Sort of a What IF, like Man in the HIgh Castle and a few others, that tells a story of alternate history arc. I do wish they went into detail with more of the lore and such, to give it more depth and essence. Maybe season 3 will have that. If this series pops up on DVD i definitely buy it, add to my collection when the world go a bit more crazy and i can just sit home and rehash the series.

Low Budget? Yes Could have been better? Absolutely The premise is interesting, to say that they have an idea that fits into the sinister Government plot. As the story progresses it does reveal the background, though they procrastinate with it some. Once one of the central plot is revealed, it make more sense and showcase the story arc. It could have been written a little better, but easy to follow. Of course you will see the stupidity of military and such and it like, a cliché theme, that makes people wonder if such stupidity runs rampant in our military's, we are doomed. Being low budget means it like Dances With Wolves cut scenes that made the movie more sensible. Thus it could of have more scene to bring that aspect to light. Still the film is entertaining, and not a total waste of time.

I enjoyed it. Though people who live for 100's of years I think would train more and know how to fight better. Still, it was entertaining and leaving out a why and how give it that mystery. I definitely would go watch a sequel.

Interesting twist, it can be seen as a good flick if you keep an open mind. Can be a waste of time if you expect some kind of logic to action. Some of the thing made sense, other not and yes, like many of the reviews, it leaves a lot of question of the "why". If you got time to kill and want to not be bored(YMMV), watch it.

Not sure if it was a coincidence or planned, but to name the astronaut Roger Nelson was a poke at I dream of Jeanie? Roger Healy, Tony Nelson combo? I can understand budgeting, but lack of props was a disappointment, I mean seriously, couldn't do better then a $5 plastic box to put an alien artifact in? a $1 pencil box glued to the wall? Then to put it in a sandwich ziplock bag? Now, this movie will show the arrogance and stupidity of man, to do things without any kind of support or resource. If that was a goal, it achieved it marvelously. Overall, entertaining, a decent watch and keep an open mind.
