This is basically a crock o' you know what. So many implausibilities in the plot and characters that have no real depth. I watchd the whole thing like a slow motion car wreck hoping most of them would die. Its a war series after all. Explain how an American journalist is allowed to broadcast anti nazi reports from Berlin and how she knows all the details of British battleships in the south Atlantic and how she can be broadcasting to be heard by Sean Bean in his Yorkshire tenement. Written by a milennial who has no conception of the waiting involved.. one of the huge tortures of war- not knowing for months. Would a heavily pregnant, unmarried girl be allowed to perform for the troops in ENSA! How low was that pregnancy padding! I refer to it as 'arse on fire' can you believe they are going to try for a second series. Oh and just how long is that corridor in Bean's workers cottage. No effin idea. Donate the money to Africa.
