This comes across as a discount version of Vikings told from the Saxon perspective. The storyline rushes through a number of events at the expense of the character and plot development, yet still manages to drag due to the terrible narrative. Even the battle scenes are unimpressive and unconvincing. The cinematography, sets and costumes are second rate and casting poor. Struggled to get through season 1, will not be continuing with this show.
