You seldom see the audience get up and give an applause for a movie. Well today was one such day. Article 15 presents one of the most delicate issues of our country - The Caste System, as a crime procedural and rivets the audience to the seats until the end of the movie. This movie is not like Dhadak which was too glossy and sanitized. In fact it is the opposite of it. It's direct and not subtle. I've always felt cinema in India has a strong effect on the audience. The characters and the stories a filmmaker shows on screen has a power to influence us. This movie does just that and boy does it do well at it. Not just the protagonist but the ensemble cast of the film leave a long lasting impression on you. The movie stays with you long after you left the theatre. This one's is not supposed to be missed at all.

People often ask me that I watch a lot of movies and yet seldom like them. That's because these days u get the same monotony in different genres. Show me a movie as good as #Andhadhun and I'll be hooked on to it from the first second till the last. Am sure everyone's heard of the phrase life's come a full circle. But, have u ever witnessed a movie come a full circle? Go watch Andhadhun if you wanna know what it feels like. Not a single frame, a single character or beat is out of place in the movie. A stellar star cast and Amit Trivedi's melancholic music surrounding the plot is amazing. Taking a cue from a 13 minute French short film and developing it into a full blown feature film is commendable. Sriram Raghavan's obsession with dark characters is not new but, adding humour to a thriller is something entirely awesome. Revealing anything further would spoil the movie experience. Go watch it for yourself. PS: Wait for the end credits. Don't leave! I bet it'll be worth your money!
