I started watching the show and I was still on season 1 episode 8. Wasn’t far into the show and a dad brought his daughter in and told doctor in the ER that she had Mito. And there was another guy in there and said that Mito wasn’t even real, they just use it when they can’t figure out what is wrong. That is not true at all, my niece had mitochondria disease, and a chiaroscuro malformation, she lived her 21 years of life in and out of hospitals and having surgeries. It was a horrible life for her to live. She and her parents have had a very rough life because Mito. It is a real disease!
