Great film based on real characters and plausible storyline. It illuminates that Black cowboys have always been part of history and has contributed to the growth of folklore in this genre. It dismisses the deliberate erosion of this feature of Black history.
Excellent actors who did the film justice. Plots and twists were entertaining. Homeage to Chadwick A Boseman on the side of the train carriage was heartening.
There are deeper sub-plots on Black history and references linked to colonialism and cattle enslavement which might be lost on some critics.
Brilliant film, comes highly recommended.
