If you are looking for a spoilers free review then this is not the one, but i can give you one piece of advice, forget everything you heard or read about the game being bad and play it right now because whatever the internet is saying LoU2 is a must have game. -Spoilers alert- I loved the game, despite all of the leaks , the unfortunate death of Joel and the fact that you will have to play a good chunk of the game as Abby (yes, i very much hated this part). In term of graphics i think we all agree that ND did a phenomenal job here, there is one thing that caught my attention when you stealth kill someone the facial expressions of ellie/abby while chocking or stabbing looks so real, i think it was a nice touch. The gameplay was good, couple of enhancements to the original LoU which i think was already good and satisfying, i like what they did with the weapon upgrades were you can actually see the scope for example being attached to the rifle. The game is around 25 to 30 hours long, this is too long for a linear non open world game, and at the end the game becomes somehow repetitive and you start thinking "i am done with this i just want to know how the story will progress", but then i thought that this is actually good because i paid 62 usd for a game that will keep me entertained for a whole week unlike RE3 remake for example which you can finish at one sitting. As for the story which is the most controversial topic about the game and all the gamers around the world are talking about i honestly think it was good, or even perfect, i mean it is really good to the point it made everyone angry about it, Joel gruesome death and then the game try to explain how his death is justified from Abby point of view (which i think it was not justified enough since we still hate her even after finishing the game), what i mean is that if the story was not good you will feel disappointed maybe and then just forget about it like Days Gone for example it was a fun game but the story and the characters were so lame to the point you just do not care about them and start burning some zombies hordes instead, but the last of us will keep you on your feet with the story eager to know what will happen next, now the fact that we did not like the ending or some certain events does not mean that the story was bad.
