This rendission strayed extremely far from the novel. Characters changed, the way they interact with one another changed, events changed, and most of all the whole drive of the plot changed. The gender swapping, exclusion of main characters, and the changing in characters importance completely ruined my viewing of this. If you're looking for a good story, read the book. Don't waste your time watching this series.
