Brilliant & insightful portrait of growing up on Long Island in the ‘80s when the world allowed us kids to come age with a freedom unknown today. The film is the best I’ve seen in years, capturing the paradox of innocence and experience with superb acting, dialog and quintessential NYC humor. I cried, I laughed, and I loved every scene. Affleck in his best role yet!! Thanks to all who brought this memoir (they’re trending 😉 now) into fruition.
