I actually really liked the whole set up of the movie. The animation as a whole wasn't the greatest but it still held plenty of Ghibli's usual charm so I was okay with it. (Give it some time and I think they can make it look REALLY good). The reason why I have to give this movie 2 stars though is because the movie really didn't give much story at all! The entire movie just felt like it could have been crunched into 30 minutes and we could have had more with Erica learning about the band and magic. The ending was soo rushed and honestly was really disappointing! I like Ghibli but damn this was a bad movie! I really hope they take there time on their next film and learn from there mistake since this movie really just needed a clearer story and more time on the animation.
