I sometimes think movie critics can be too critical. This movie was Oscar worthy in so many categories. As a gay man from a very small town in northern Alberta I see so many parallels with my life and Tillys. Like here I am a fashion designer/dressmaker as well and from very similar family situations. I see a lot of her own story within my own life and in a lot of ways the humanity behind the movie. The costumes are just the icing on the cake. 5/5 stars will deff, watch again!
