Just. Dreadful. LEAVE THIS MOVIE BEHIND. Just kept waiting for that "moment" when it would finally turn around and start getting good. The moment never came. I actually had to fast forward through some parts because the tedium became unbearable.

This series was a disaster in many ways -- beginning with the dreadful lack of continuity, followed by lousy acting and over-acting by the westerners (and a lack of understanding English dialogue by the director), awful re-dubbing Chinese over Chinese, with subtitles re-translated from the Chinese dubbing of English conversations -- the list goes on....... Yet, in spite of all this, what saved it all was a compelling story, a great overall script and the palpable love the director and cast had for the life of Bruce Lee. Also, the martial arts action was first-class, made even better by the minimal use of special effects. All of these guys are legit martial artists and know what they're doing. I have always been a fan of Bruce Lee but had never heard of this series. This is the first time I've made through 50 episodes of anything -- once I started watching it, I couldn't stop.
