Stephen King once described books with terrific setups and rubbish denouements as "All sizzle and no steak!" The first 5 seasons are amazing but then the whole premise (mystifying but logical up to then) skews into metaphysical fantasy hokum. I still haven't forgiven them for the ending!🤬 Still, with an amazing cast (before the show made them famous) plots that deal with heavy philosophical themes while containing plenty of shocks and action and probably the show that introduced us to main characters dying suddenly and without foreshadowing, there's lots to enjoy. Just prepare for disappointment by season 6😱
