It is amazing how the Star Wars franchise has continuously missed the mark for 35 years, and yet suddenly produce something that takes me back to my youth with its magic. Many of the games like KOTR as well as the side properties have been good. Episode III's last 45 minutes were entertaining... But not magic. This shows made me forget that most Hollywood/media is pushing an agenda or simply out of ideas... Actually lowering my guard and simply being fully taken in by the spectacle and story. I don't think i have enjoyed a fantasy/sci-fi protect this much since Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings"... This is FANTASTIC. If Favreau could do this on the big screen, I would not only watch it.. But actually buy a ticket and go to the theatre.

This review comes too late to make a difference but.. I went into this expecting to hate this film based on the campaign and my circle of like minded people But I absolutely loved it. From start to finish, the irony being Ezra Miller's unbearable annoying personality is needed and GREAT here because he is balanced out by his more mature heart broken older version who helps him realized to "turn it down a notch" The film had heart, alot of heart. Some genuinely touching and sad moments thanks to Miller. I didn't like the casting of Calle as Supergirl but she was good. Keaton was as good if not better than Miller I simply loved it. It is far from perfect with some weak CGI & meandering ploy threads but overall it was more fun & a better time I have had with a superhero movie in a decade. Again I went in HATING THIS FILM. I finished loving it. Dang shame it couldn't have been released during a period not exhausted with cape films and all Ezra Miller's bad behavior

Three Episodes and I AM OUT. There is zero story just a weird sort of sewing scenes together. The acting is really not good with suprisingly Rosario Dawson whom is usually a decent character actor, being more boring than drying paint. Zero emoting The other problem is you need to come into this with an encyclopedic knowledge of extraneous Star Wars properties. I have heard of Ahsoka a bit from when I watched the old Clone Wars show (Dawson is playing her opposite to her warm personality in that show and looks nothing like her) Bit I never watched Star Wars Rebels outside of a few 1st season shows. So immediately I was at a loss for most of these characters. But I could have even worked with that if this wasnt so terrible They need to take a few years off from Star Wars overkill and just take a break. These all get worse and worse. This universe looks and sounds NOTHING like anything Lucas did

Whereas 95% of the show is simply abysmal, and not in the fun "so bad it is good" kind of way but rather in the artificially forced VELMA sort of way. Forced and uncomfortable but a few Red and Kitty scenes take it from a 0 (negative -4 actually) to a 1 star based on ****NOSTALGIA (TM)***. The problem with nostalgia (TM). It can't be forced and seeing we live in age of nothing but forced nostalgia (TM) you get mostly that. This show is terrible. I mean it is just not funny. The infamous "round table" montages which once served as mortar for the show and a means of adding a 4th wall breaking sort of personal commentary now feel like Barry Williams doing "THE BRADY BRUNCH" stage show in Bransonon Missouri. Cheap and makes you feel dirty. Did i mention this show is truly terrible. Even She-Hulk had the occasional misstep of the odd intelligent bit of humor mistakenly added. This has NONE. And "The 90s". NOTHING ABOUT THIS FEELS LIKE IT IS IN THE 90S. Outside the forced glib "'member berry this thing that happened in the news back in 1994...,,,". Like just saying "OJ" is hysterical. It is not good. And the new cast? Pure nightmare fuel Bad acting strange looking no gel between them. Did I mention really.really really.bad acting
