The movie is a sort of parallel to Clint Eastwood's a life. It all comes down to mortality, and those opportunities, choices, right and wrong in life. Eastwood is still and will always be the most rugged toughest badass to ever be in Hollywood. Nobody compares even at 91 years old. I think a lot of people have completely missed the concept behind this movie. The story is a story that is very similar to many people's lives and Experiences . People like to judge and spew ridiculous analogies of ignorance. This movie is not supposed to be like Clint's movies of the past. The name has nothing to do with Clint Eastwood hlmself. Most will never live to the age of 91. Maybe that's why I see comments of jealousy.
Just sit back and watch, listen and learn. There's a lot to be taken from this film

One of the greatest films ,and acting by Joaquin Phoenix, I have ever seen. Flawless, Academy Award must for Phoenix. Dark, Disturbing, realistic, deep look at mental illness and Arthur Fleck's spiral into insanity. BRILLIANT A+
