WARNING: don’t watch this movie unless you can handle a rape scene and feeling disgusted and unsettled for the remainder of your day. I hate this movie with a passion because it made me feel sick and I almost vomited because some scenes are truly horrendous. 5 stars because the goal was to question how far is too far when it comes to science. They wanted it to be disturbing and disgusting, to raise questions of right and wrong, and they definitely did that. I just wish I had searched up more on this movie before watching it. I didn’t expect a rape scene and it triggered me, but that’s my own fault for not researching it before watching it like I do with most movies.

This movie was absolutely terrifying. I love horror films, and this definitely is one of my favorite horror films now. So many things were unexpected. The child actor playing Brandon Breyers conveys emotions that make the viewers feel goosebumps; his facial expressions alone will bring tears of fear in your eyes. Watching this movie will cause you to feel split between who to trust, whose side to take. Brandon Breyers will make you empathize with him, feel sorry for him. But the way his character develops in such a short time will make you question everything you thought was true about his character, and wonder if you would ever survive in the storyline. This is the type of movie that will give children nightmares, cause you to hold your loved one tight, and leave you feeling unsettled even after the film is over. I’ve watched this movie twice now, and each time I notice more small details that I never saw before. I recommend this movie to anyone who can handle jump scares and gruesome scenes, as well as handle the series of plot twists that bring the story line together so well.
