I have the first book and plan to read it but i thought the movie was amazing. It made me laugh and cry and smile. I recommend most definitely. I really really really love it. I want a sequel so bad. I was asked repeatedly if i was okay after it cause i was crying so much. There are loads of bad reviews but i think you should give it a try. I did and i don't regret it. I think Amandla Stenbergs acting was amazing (like always). The acting from everyone was amazing. I love it so much.
