I've always been a big fan of the Drew Carey from the first time I saw his sit-com in the 90's . All of the actors were funny. I enjoy the price is right almost every day but Thursday 8/15/24 I was watching and they had a message during the commercial to play the price is right play at home game with a chance to win $5000. I wanted to see what it was about, never noticing it before after years of watching. I was on hold for 10-15 minutes and a nice lady come on the phone and took my name and I played a simple game and won and then she transferred me to another party. This fellow was also nice but was hard to understand because of his heavy Indian accent and he took down all of my name and address info and told me I had won not one but two coupons for $100 each at a store of my choice off their list, all I had to do was give him my credit card number to pay the $2+ shipping fee. I told him I didn't give my credit card info out to strangers and he was insisting for the card numbers so I can get the prizes. It really sounded like a fishing scheme and after wasting 45-50 minutes on the phone he hung up on me. I just thought I'd let the price is right know what was going on and maybe if it is a scam they will not air this again, and to Drew Carey, if I'm ever out close to where the price is right is recorded maybe I can get tickets to be on your show. .
