Absolutely amazing film. Has a similar general vibe to the Safdies’ “Good Time” - i.e. one of relentless anxiety and constantly ratcheting up the stakes - but repurposed for a completely different film, and one that instantly goes into the canon of crime movie greats for me. Adam Sandler absolutely kills it. So does everyone else. It’s completely unique, relentlessly intense, and I can’t wait to watch it again. One of my absolute favorites of the year.
