This show is severely under-appreciated in my opinion, fight me.
OK K.O is probably the best show CN has put out since 2013. This show has a lot of great elements that I feel people glance upon when watching the show.
Starting things off, the concept of this show is great, I love how it takes place in a world with heroes, while it may not scream "unique" to some fans of superhero shows, I still think the show's setting is unique and bring a realm of possibilities. While i'll be honest by saying that the stories are somewhat simple, the show take unique ideas and goes full-force with them, which is something a lot of superhero shows are lacking nowadays. Not to mention the countless amount of references that are executed well. (this part depends on whether you understand the references or not)
I know what some of you are thinking "the animation of the show is off-model so its badly animated!!!!", I disagree, while I'm personally against shows constantly going off-model, I think this show uses them to their advantage, as some of the facial expressions this show has are well done, and I like how the show's staff freely gives the story-boarders ways to make the facial expressions as creative as possible. The characters in this show are all very likable once you get to understand them, as the characters are given decent amounts of development throughout the episode, particularly throughout the end of season 1 into season 2, you'll likely relate to one of the dozens of characters this show has.
While I will admit that the show was a bit of a mix during the first couple of episodes, and its own hints of controversies like with the gun-control episode, I still think that over time, the show has definitely gotten consistently good, and I think that this shows that the show has a bright future ahead of it with how CN has treated this show.
Overall thoughts? I think OK K.O is a great show that is overlooked by people too often! If you're a fan of action shows with a hint of ingenious jokes, give this show a watch.
