Like most fans of the books, I am disappointed in many of the changes. I expected some, there MUST be In any adaptation to TV. But many of the changes and choices disappointed me. ( won't give spoilers) That said, the production value is first class in my opinion. I think the actung, effects and scenery are very impressive and entertaining. The first episode was bad. A jumbled mess that crammed too much into 60 minutes with too little background and/or explanation. From the last bit of episode 1 through the end of 4 ( all that's released so far) it is spectacular. And it is improving with each one.
