I didn't think this series was gonna be that good bc I didn't know any of the actors/actresses. I was mistaken. This series pulled me in. Binged it with my family. Can't wait to see what's coming up next.

I was anticipating this to start. 2 reasons why I'm losing interest. 1.The antics of the brother with no consequences. 2. The female leads part is dry.

I enjoyed this movie alot. It gave me "Crooklyn" or "School Daze" vibes. Message! There are so many layers to the concept of the story. The actors/actresses in that middle/older age range were subperb! In my opinion this story touched on stereotypes, loss, conflict, family dynamics, self reflection & other areas we deal with as human beings. It's sad those who put low ratings didn't, couldn't or wouldn't open their minds to what was going on. This in no way was a comedy as one person stated in their low rating of the film.

I found the movie to be very relatable. The chemistry between characters is believable except step dad/daughter. It was a little off. Maybe showing earlier years of that relationship would've been a plus and his job. The other thing stopping the 5 stars is more content surrounding the high school pregnancy. It jumped too far without explanation. Oh and forget Rotten Tomatoes! They don't always know what a good movie is. Their low rating is why I created an account here to post my review. Keep doing what you're doing ladies and gents.

This movie shows how the justice system(the judge) preys on black people especially those with no money.

I give all scenes with Rebecca 1 star. How is it that she "beats" every situation she's in. She was able to beat the Indians by the pool and not get taken. She ran them off the road then blew up the truck. She messed up a drup deal for her uncle, almost gets him killed and nothing happened to her. This is what sticks out most in this series and made me stop watching it.

3.5 stars. I believe the base storyline was really good. I thought the actors/actresses played their parts well. It was drama and suspenseful. The ending was a surprise for sure! A plus! I would suggest Tryler not having major parts in his movies but cameos. I would've liked it better if he were a nosy neighbor and got killed. And an up and coming actor to have played the lead cop role.
