A lot of people dislike this movie. But I think Lucasfilm and everyone that had a part in it did a wonderful job. I count this to be one of my favorite Star Wars movies, and here’s why.
First off, I think Hayden Christensen nailed the part. The way he always made Anakin look like he was conflicted helped the movie so much. He captured the part perfectly. His expressions showed how focused he was and I can tell he out a lot of effort into being Anakin Skywalker.
I also think Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor did an awesome job, too. They portrayed such important characters in the saga and I think they also did it perfectly. Portman portrayed Padmé with such intelligence and experience, and so did McGregor.
Even though I’m not the biggest fan of Jar Jar Binks, I think he appeared more behaved and civilized in Episode II. And, the lightsaber battle between Yoda and Count Dooku showed us how skilled Yoda is. This is the first time we
really see him in action, and it was epic. I also loved seeing the relationship between Anakin and Padmé grow, and the scenes are Naboo were breathtaking.
So, I really enjoyed Episode II. It was a masterpiece and a very important part of the Star Wars saga. It leads up to the wedding of Anakin and Padmé, which eventually leads to her pregnancy( causing Anakin’s fear of losing Padmé to turn him to the Dark side). This movie is amazing and I hope everyone will enjoy it as much as I do.
