David Mc Farlane

I enjoyed the programme though I found the numerous times where it goes back in time by a certain time period then jumps forward by a different time period to be confusing but knowing the story was based on true events it kept me hooked. I also enjoyed that the programme was representative of the events that took place with the actors who played Charles and Monique looking very similar to the real characters rather than the box ticking of actors that appears in so many programmes today, including historical events. Charles is another example of a criminal who believed he was cleverer than the police like Harold Shipman and others. It is particularly sad that so many young hippy type travellers who presumably wanted to explore themselves and the Far East should come to such a tragic end.
