Mel Brooks' involvement in this project is evident throughout: many of the gags and set-ups from his "Blazing Saddles" are liberally sprinkled throughout. I saw it at the drive-in, so i couldnt gauge audience reaction, but any fan of Blazing Saddles will surely enjoy the common gags, including several 4th-wallbreaks. The story is good,as is the animations. The charcters work well in advancing tge story. Children will enjoy the antics witjout knowing the Saddles tie-in.

Loving the scenery, and the camaraderie of the crew. The reactions of the homeowners seem genuine, and not scripted.

Trying to discern a thread of a story arc through this is nearly impossible. It could be a compelling story, but the jumping from the present to flashback scenes, and each juror's personal dramas is difficult to follow.

Just reading the books, now. Cruise would almost never be my first choice for any movie, but Reacher is supposed to be well over 6 feet tall and with enough muscle to take on a small biker gang.
