I've read all the Roy Grace books and thoroughly enjoyed this adaptation. I've sometimes wondered who'd play him and never considered John Simm but he's perfect. I can't help but notice that most negative reviews are more concerned by some actors skin colour rather than the quality of the production..... Very shallow..... Get a bit more colour blind and you'll enjoy life a whole lot more .
