The game has some good ideas and for the most part early on follows the story of the original. However as time goes by you realize the gameplay is lacking primarily in the combat section where the dodge button is typically worse than continuing to run to avoid an attack being a prime example. The story while probably not upsetting to new fans is as a vetern of the series is more than a little jarring.
