Nothing flashy or extraordinarily deep, this movie is just a good story that is better than its bad reviews. I had previously seen the French version of the film called The Intouchables, which I thought could have been better made but it was a still a very good film. I felt the same way about this one, that it could have been better edited or put together but overall was a good film. There were some slow moments which bog the film down, but Some soaring moments too, and I thought Hart, Cranston, and Kidman were excellent. It is a very simple story, a touching film about how we often treat people who are disabled and about relationships. I enjoyed it very much.
