The concept of the show is a good idea and personally the storyline so far seems alright. The main issue I have is with how the characters are being expressed. Many of them are frustrating to watch because they're often whining, being negatively stubborn, or show no strength that proves they'd be useful to the situation/conversation at that time. It's more or less reasonable early teenagers would be moody and often bratty but these kids were too much; especially Beth and Courtney, can barely stand for themselves as an individual so she is overbearing on others or refuses to listen to reason. It's understood there's no perfect following the comics as a play-by-play but the writing and direction the actors went with could've been better. Not all, but a lot of the adults are on a similar boat as well with poor acting portrayal. I rather enjoy most of the DC comic live action shows with their slightly random story archs but this one's gets muddled under how mind-numbingly frustrating the characters are in that moment. They just need some better development that strengthens their actions.
