Besides having lots of wonderful songs, really well rendered including Heartbreak Hotel (pretty nervy of her - wouldn't you say) - she introduced a whole new genre of music, for that era, with I Just Don't Understand... and she kills it. I saw her right after she'd come to America, sing that song live; it was a knock out. I ordered her album the next day (it hadn't quite come out yet). Two weeks later, listening to it; it had the same punch as her live performance... just a kid... but one hot kid she was.
