**SPOILERS AHEAD** Look... the actors did a great job at portraying their role and I feel so bad about giving the movie a one-star rating because they worked so hard for it. But the thing is the dialogue was terrible, screenplay was terrible, the jokes were not funny and I just don't appreciate the mindless violence and nudity (like shooting someone 'just because'). And I would agree, this movie is NOT for kids/pre-teens/teens. I was hoping to get to know more about the characters but HALF of them were just killed off in the first 10 minutes of the movie. I really wanted Savant to live, too, since he seems very useful for the squad but they killed him off. :( Also, Starro would've been a more formidable villain (I mean he is, considering all of his scary powers) but they didn't write up a good battle scene for him and it's just so frustrating! And I didn't want polka dot man to die, too. I was expecting a cool movie from James Gunn, like what he did for The Guardians of the Galaxy series (w/c never disappointed me.) But this one just made me want to take my 2+ hours back. Haha. I actually dozed off around the 30-min mark and it was not as remarkable as I hoped it would be.
