Cliche nonsense from start to finish. The action sequences were choreographed in such a way as to make them appear rehearsed, as wave after wave of poor old dumb "canon fodder" foot soldiers walk into the line of fire seemingly on purpose. This left me bored as every fight scene was so predictable. "John Wick this ain't!" Throw in some token gay couple, in order to tick a box "check." Throw in some random history about the characters "check." The whole film was basically just a box ticking exercise, with no deeper meaning or message, and no reason to get attached to any of the characters. Acting was very mediocre, and that's a shame as Charlize is actually a fantastic actress usually. But in this she just seems bored most of the time. The soundtrack is like a teenagers garage collection rather than something that would have you on the edge of your seat with your heart racing. A totally uninspiring movie.
