Script seemed too ambitious for it's own good. Started well, halfway through plot armor protects some folks and then you get a really lackluster ending. Not satisfying by any means. The film has several monsters for sure, but considering the immersion in the beginning with the corruption and system of foul players that create the cycle of scamming, I clearly rooted against Marla. Several times key players threaten Marla with losing everything. She certainly doesn't lose EVERYTHING, not nearly enough as she deserves. Acting is well played between the key players though. I think follow through needed to be done and done on a grand scale. All the monsters should lose when they fought amongst themselves and the kingdom should've come crashing down. In those regards, no payoff for me. Could've easily been 4-5 star of the film kept it's course.
