Came back to update after release. If sea of thieves is fun for you, this probably won't be. But if you are into 4x games there is a surprising late game element of building a drug empire that nobody talks about that adds a lot. Also this game was a lot of different things during development so it has a little of everything, gathering, character development (your ship is your character unless you're in a walking section of the game), PvP, trade, tons of lore to read and more. The AAAA statement about the game is hyperbole for sure, but it's a blast even with the bugs.

Decent game, lacks some depth but perfectly fine if you're into the genre.
