Nick - The Young Historian

I remember growing up with this franchise SO MANY years ago now. Especially after all these years gone by since. What I think this still makes a triumph of Computer Animation is the amount of details, the martial arts style being shown in this form of entertainment. The all-star cast of characters, not only from the past/present. Which carries on to this day. The music itself feels powerful in telling this story from start to finish. Totally worth watching if you a fan of animation and action/martial-arts films. For this, I'd give it a 10/10.

2011 was the most anticipated year for this one for sure! This would have to be my most personal favorite of them all-- Especially the villain played by none other than Gary Oldman. It brings in the laughs, but also shows a more dramatic tone compared to the first. Great all-star cast with most of the voice actors return, along with some new faces/voices including action film star: Michelle Yeoh (Supercop 2)-- And of course: Jean Claude Van-Dame (Street Fighter) with important appearances. Totally worth seeing this then, in IMAX. For this, I'd give it a 10/10.

After a 5 year hiatus-- They've returned!! This one really brings it all together for the main characters-- Especially for more secrets being revealed. Animation is top notch just like the first 2 that came before, plus the spin-off series and direct-to-video sequels as well. Seeing actor J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man Trilogy), playing in another animated role, and only two months prior to "Zootopia" in March 2016. Another reason to love and respect this franchise for it's personalized storytelling and brilliant characters since. For this, I'd give it a 10/10.

Just saw in theatres on it's opening night, and absolutely loved it so much, I had to see it twice with some good friends/family of mine, indeed. The new style/look brings it all powered to the max. With new/returning voice talent including: Awkwafina (Ocean's 8), Brian Cranston (Argylle), Ian McShane (Kung Fu Panda), Ke Huy Quan (Goonies)-- And finally Viola Davis (How to Get Away with Murder), playing the NEW villain: Chameleon. This is totally worth watching for the laughs, the action and suspenseful moments. And be sure to stay and watch the credits for the return of a few familiar faces...! For this, I'd give it a 10/10.

Tonight (Feb. 10th) I just watched this with my mom, at one of my favorite theatres in the city. And I'm watching it twice in theatres with a great friend of mine. Okay-- Ever since I watched the "Kingsman" series since 2017, this would have to be one of the best espionage/thriller/comedies I've seen in 25+ years now. It's like a combination of "Die Hard" meets "True Lies" or even "Knight and Day" for that matter. I was just blown away with the amount of the all-star talent cast of characters, hard core but also comedic moments-- Along with surprising twists I NEVER saw coming. I would totally recommend this one for sure, see it while you can, while it's still in theatres. If my favorite series "Helluva Boss" was involved with more of an espionage storyline on a future episode-- I hope it takes great inspiration from this! For this, I'd give it a 10/10.

I've seen MANY Disney films from over 25 years of growing up in my childhood, and this would have to be one of the BEST ones I've seen. From classic animation/live-action references, to the opening and closing credits, paying tribute to 1937's "Snow White". What really sparked was seeing the style of the combination of 2D/3D elements making it look like one of the "renaissance" era of traditional animation. I think in my only fair opinion, this film was and hopefully will be a wakeup call to the animation world. Seeing actor Chris Pine (Star Trek), playing an animated villain was perfect for showing some important character development in the story. Along with Canadian actor Victor Garber (Titanic, The Orville, Kung Fu Panda 2) playing an important role in the story-line. Especially famous voice-actor Alan Tudyk (Frozen, Zootopia, Moana) once again playing another comical animated role. Go SEE this, you will not regret the memories of nostalgia which SHOULD last, another 100 years to come...

This film is the MOST favorite of mine of 2003 - It's action-packed, the music is wonderful and the all-star cast featured in throughout. I remember having fond memories of seeing this, back in theatres 20 YEARS AGO. For anyone that loves 2D/3D Animation mixed together, this film won't let you down. Totally recommend it for those in learning animation. Get the DVD if you can, to see HOW they made it come to life.

Just got back from seeing this... TWICE... This week!! 2 days!!! And I must say, it's a VERY pleasing sequel of the post-pandemic era for 2022. This film has so many easter eggs, film, show AND references from the games! Here's what I discovered: Most of the film references/tributes are from films, like: - King Kong (1933) - Die Hard (1988) - WarGames (1983) - Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) - Speed (1994) - Home Alone (1990) - Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) - Men in Black (1997-2002) - Blues Brothers (1980-1998) - Poltergeist (1982) - Treasure Planet (2002) - Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) - Tomb Raider (2001-2003) - Spy Kids (2001-2003) - Jackie Chan's First Strike (1996) - Rush Hour (1998-2007) - Fast and the Furious (2001-Present) (Also a few "Marvel" film references, as well.) The games, were mostly the classics, as well as the ones, from 1998 to 2000s-era. - Sonic Adventure (1998/1999) - Sonic Adventure 2 (2001) I'd definitely recommend watching this as much as the first, because it has action, comedy, and love of a family. For ALL to enjoy, and feel nostalgia. (Best part I LOVE in the film, is that there is an underwater scene, Sonic facing his fear of water.) For this, I'd give it a 10. P.S. - Stay for the post-credit scene! It WILL shock you...!
