Depending on the person who plays the game, Death Stranding is a game suited for a select type of people. In my opinion, there is great value to the art on landscape, spirituality, also with a wide variety of tactical scavenging that can make the game well worth the effort playing to accomplish a large set of missions. Besides that, there is a very deep theme and ideal that the game portrays about life or humans in particular that should value life as well as those who have passed on. Not only acknowledging that passing on is very close to us or reaching out to connect through an invisible wall to the other side. But The use of a baby you are connected to through an umbilical cord to sense the other side I think is a controversial statement used in an adventure/ horror game such as this. Just the simple thought of a baby to me none the less resembles a connection to a mother. Which I think the game is trying to emphasize how important children are alongside mothers. People who criticized this game need to notice a much deeper set of beauty, challenge, decisiveness x strategy, love, hate and having an open minded to the other side of the unknown after passing on. Well thought out and rewarding with strategic survival methods. Not to mention getting spooked out when around BT's. Fully support.
