For all that is good and holy, do not pay to watch this horse manure. This is by far the most disturbing and grotesque movie I’ve ever seen in my entire life. What’s even more disturbing is the fact that people give this five stars, there are some sick people out here in need of some help. The beginning was interesting, but they squandered it beyond belief. A waste of over two hours and we had to turn away from the TV half the movie because it was so disgusting and visceral. I watch plenty of horror movies, but this is by far a whole other creation. Just don’t.

*Spoilers* I so desperately wanted to give this book a five out of five and overall I think it was good, but the biggest drawback was the ending. It was very anti-climactic and left you wanting more and with many unanswered questions. Why did Clay call Andrea at the end? And I wanted something from Emily’s perspective from right before she was killed in the alley. And what exactly happened with Dean and Emily? We never actually got confirmation that he did something to her. And why did Dean say he was the father and sneak in to grab Judith as a baby? Nardo admitted he was the father, but did Blake r*pe her too? I wouldn't put it past him. And why was Emily yelling at Clay that night by the pool without a dress on, did he do something to her too? I have so many questions. The events that actually happened that night were still left unclear and I wish it was explained. It also got very choppy with all of the black mail and was hard to keep up with at some points. But the storyline and the characters were definitely complex and left you wanting more. I’m just shook that all of her friends were literal psychopaths and she had no idea. I might have to read the prequel “Pieces of Her” to get more backstory on this.

Horrible, had no resolution. Everyone gets murdered except the one girl and we don’t even get to see what happens to her after she drives away. Somehow everyone gets killed by two crotchety old people and put up zero fight. They just wanted an excuse for nudity on screen. Why were the old people even killing everyone and how long had they been doing it? What were they planning on doing to the girl that escaped? What made her so special to the old woman? So many questions unanswered. Would never recommend.

This is the cheesiest movie I have seen in a while. The acting was overdone and dramatic at random points and then too calm and flat at points that should be serious. Super unrealistic and bad CGI. Both characters’ acting was in the toilet. The husband showed no interest in getting rescue and was weak the whole time. And the wife had random outbursts that were annoying and irritating to watch. She was the most annoying whiny character possibly ever. They continued to make the worst decisions a person could make until the film was finally over. Would never recommend

I loved this book! If you love stories where the protagonist has to revolt against authority and create an uprising, you will love this. It reminded me of The Hunger Games a little bit. Very dystopian and interesting, with many parallels to our world today. It was interesting every part of the way. It takes a little to get really good but stick with it and you will not be disappointed. Going to read the sequel right away! I loved it!!

This movie was a waste of my time. I will say they were able to capture the awkwardness and frustration in certain scenes very well, but they didn’t connect at all. The movie in no way made logical sense and the characters did things that were never explained and they were very hard to read. It was as if every character was either suspicious and weird or overly flirty. It also felt like we were missing context the entire movie. Just don’t waste your time on this one.

People who said this movie was good simply have no taste. The acting was subpar and the plot really did not connect or remind me at all of the other Resident Evil movies. I get it’s supposed to be an origin story and it’s supposed to be different from the previous movies, but it felt rushed and sloppily put together. There are so many loose ends and it’s sad to see how movies have declined so much in these past couple years. Me and my family were making fun of it for most of the movie and the only likable character was Claire. The relationships were not built at all and I would never recommend this.

I am late to the game, but I started reading the series and watched the Twilight movie after and it was a huge disappointment. They left out many parts of the book that built Edward and Bella’s relationship, without that it was like Edward and weren’t even that close, like they barely know each other. A piece of advice, just read the books and don’t watch the movies. It was very cringy at many points in the movie and Bella and Edward act completely different in the book than in the movies. I would rate the book 10/10 and the movie a 1/10.
