The movie is disjointed and unrealistic but fun. I don't want to give the plot away so I will just leave it at that. The first half hour is slow and then the action takes off. All the Actor's are great but Finn Little steals the show as the little boy. His Career is something to watch out for. I remember when Leonardo DiCaprio was about his age in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape" This kid has the same magic as Leonardo did. Angelina Jolie is always fun to watch and she does a great job here also.

Loved this movie. It has you on the edge of your seat from the beginning to end. Chris Rock is great and so is his counterpart Max Mingalia. It was wonderful seeing Samuel L. Jackson again as Chris' father. Marisol Nichols held her own as the captain. The whole cast is fun to watch. If you have a weak stomach you might have second thoughts about watching this movie lol.

Frances McDormand is always great to watch she has a very loving smile and she really gets into her character. I recommend it highly but if you are a depressed person you will be more depressed after you watch this movie lol.

Liam Neeson is always fun to watch. The movie is a little disjointed but worth the ticket.

Another great Tom Hanks Movie not to be missed. Helena Zengel gives Tom a run for his money. She's a great little actress who steals the movie.

Fabulous Movie! Not to be missed Jake Allyn should be a major star after this movie! He wrote the screenplay and stars as the lead character Jackson. He has a wide range of depth with his compassion and vulnerability. The whole cast is stellar a great change of character for George Lopez as the officer who needs to bring jackson in, Andie Macdowell is always great and she continues her greatness here as Jackson's distraught Mom. Frank Grillo is compassionate as the worried father and Alex MacNicoll is a loving brother. Jorge A. Jimenez is wonderful as the grieving father of the little boy, ofelia Medina is also very compassionate as the grieving grand mother of the little boy and Andres Delgado is menacing and determined to get revenge for the grieving father. The movie can be summed up in one word "Forgiveness". Not to be missed!

A different type of war Movie it is almost like going through a devastating Fun house at an amusement park watching the obstacles that these two guys went through to carry a message to save the troops on the other side. It will win the academy award for best movie for sure!

Stellar Cast of a movie not to be missed. Anyone who was involved in the Viet Nam War knows how devastating it was. It was a shame how William H. Pitsenbarger was over looked for his bravery and dedication to his fellow men in that war. It's Heart Wrenching well worth the price of the movie ticket the audience clapped at the end of the movie that is how touching it was. I can't rave enough about it! This is truly something to watch unlike what is going on in politics today.

Tom Hanks, Matthew Rhys, Chris Cooper & Susan Kelechi are at the top of their game with sensitive performances that are unforgettible in this great movie. Tom Hanks is right on with the low keyed Mr. Rogers who is more complex then what meets the eye and Matthew Rhys is so complex with his battered anxiety with his father played by the great Chris Cooper who is begging for forgiveness from his broken son and Susan Kelechi is the stand by wife who has to deal with her complex husband. Not to be missed!
